Oak gazebo and slate patio
This project involved creating a defined outdoor living space for a new build property. We installed an oak gazebo with a slate roof, a dark grey slate patio, and horizontal timber lath fencing.

The garden of this new build property in Edenthorpe, Doncaster, required a more functional and private outdoor area. The existing space featured a lawn and a basic patio, with a need for clear zones for relaxation and improved screening from neighbouring properties.
We constructed a substantial oak gazebo, providing a sheltered area for seating and dining. The gazebo features a traditional slate roof, offering protection from the elements, and its natural timber complements the surrounding garden.
Adjacent to the house, we laid a new patio using dark grey slate paving. The patio features a curved edge, framed by a border of dark cobbles, creating a softer transition to the lawn. A matching curved path extends from the main patio area towards the front of the house and driveway.
To enhance privacy and define the boundaries, horizontal timber lath fencing was installed. The light timber provides a modern backdrop and visually extends the sheltered space of the gazebo.
The finished garden now offers a practical and attractive outdoor living space, with distinct areas for relaxation and socialising, all within a more private setting.
