The original front garden had an old, worn tarmac driveway. There was no clear pathway to the house entrance, and the garden area was undefined, with bare earth in one section. A mature hedge bordered one side, and a grey timber fence with concrete posts bordered the other.
We installed a new pathway leading to the front door. This was laid with Kandla Grey sandstone paving, featuring varied sizes and tones, bordered by dark grey cobbles. The pathway follows a gentle curve, creating a clear route to the house.
The existing tarmac driveway was completely resurfaced, giving a fresh, dark finish. A new lawn was laid next to the pathway and fence, defining the garden space. The existing grey timber fence with concrete posts and gravel boards was retained.
The finished front garden now has a durable and attractive pathway, a clean, spacious driveway, and a well-defined lawn area. The combination of materials provides a smart, low-maintenance entrance to the property.
