The garden started with an area of bare earth, making it an uninviting and impractical space. The client wanted to create a defined, low-maintenance area for relaxing and entertaining, alongside a neat lawn.
We installed a spacious patio using cream Indian honed sandstone. The smooth, light-coloured paving was laid in a mixed-size pattern, incorporating a recessed manhole cover for seamless integration. The patio features a gentle curve, softening the transition to the lawn.
A new turf lawn was laid, edged neatly with a single course of block paving. We also installed a short run of square stepping stones leading from the patio to the shed door, providing a practical pathway. A low wall was constructed from matching sandstone blocks near the garden gate.
The finished result is a bright and functional garden. The smooth sandstone patio offers ample space for outdoor furniture, while the striped lawn adds a touch of greenery. The clean lines and natural materials create a cohesive and welcoming outdoor area.
