The original garden was largely laid to lawn, with an irregular paved area adjacent to the conservatory and house. Existing features included a small, dark timber shed and some established but untidy planting borders. The space lacked clear definition and modern amenity.
The redesign introduced a structured layout with new paved areas and bespoke timber constructions. A large timber gazebo now provides a dedicated outdoor seating space, complemented by a matching shed and log store at the far end of the garden. New planting beds were integrated into the design.
Materials chosen include light grey paving slabs, edged with dark grey block paving for a clean finish. The gazebo, shed, log store, and boundary fencing are all crafted from timber, featuring horizontal slatted panels for a contemporary look and privacy. Two large white planters were also installed.
The finished garden offers functional and attractive zones for relaxation and storage. The coherent use of timber and paving creates a cohesive aesthetic, providing a neat and practical outdoor living area.
